♪PROFILE♪
Lewis from Denmark and Chris from Ireland, who grew up together in Belgium, met in Paris again and they restarted their collaboration in 2017. And Julia from Finland joined them in 2018. In the spring of 2021, they released ‘Paris II’ (EP). They are currently on tour in Europe.
ベルギーでともに育ったデンマーク出身のLewisとアイルランド出身のChrisが、2017年にParisで再会をはたし共作をリスタート。2018年には、フィンランド出身のJuliaが2018年に加わった。2021年の春に、彼らは‘Paris Ⅱ’(EP)をリリース。現在、ヨーロッパツアーを敢行している。

Q
How was the live performance in Paris on September 3rd? You did a show under a bridge called The Pont Alexandre III as a project of Rock en Seine.
A
We feel supergalisticexpialidocious! The show was good. To play under a bridge in Paris is like playing in a space ship on Mars so we felt at home.
Q
What are your plans for future releases?
A
We have an EP called ‘Midnight Afternoon (Live at La Ferme with the Elmire Quartet)’ coming out October 15th with some live songs recorded with a quartet and then another single before the end of the year. Finally our album will be out next year!

9月3日に行われたパリでのライブはいかがでしたか？Rock en Seineの企画で、The Pont Alexandre IIIと呼ばれる橋の下でライヴをしたんですよね。
A
素晴らしい体験だった! 良かったよ。パリの橋の下で演奏するのは、火星の宇宙船の中で演奏するようなものだから、打ち解けた雰囲気を楽しめたね。

今後のリリースの予定を教えてください。
A
10月15日には‘Midnight Afternoon (Live at La Ferme with the Elmire Quartet)’(EP)という、弦楽器のカルテットとともに録音したライブ音源を、年内にもう1枚シングルをリリースする予定。そしてついに、来年にはアルバムを発表するつもりだよ。
