最近、Sound Cloudにて、素晴らしい新人バンドを発見しまして。THE THREE O’CLOCKというバンドで、’With A Cantaloupe Girlfriend’という曲にすっかりハマってしまいました。バンドのロゴも写真もレトロで、格好いいなと思いました。
そうして僕は、メンバーに取材を依頼をしました。バンドからの返事が来てやっと気づきました。THE THREE O’CLOCKは80年代からいるLAの伝説のバンドだったのです。しかも、2014年にはFUJI ROCK FESTIVALにも出演していたらしく。全然知りませんでした。大変失礼しました。でも、彼らの音楽が全く古くなっていないことを証明できたと思います。少なくとも僕には、新しいバンドによる新鮮な曲だと感じました。
Recently , I have found the young and fresh band on Sound Cloud. This band is called THE THREE O’CLOCK. I have stoked especially on With A Cantaloupe Girlfriend.Band’s logo and visual is so retro. I think it is very stylish.
Then I asked them to interview. After receiving to reply, finally I got it. THE THREE O’CLOCK is one of the legendary bands in LA since 1980s. And they came Fuji rock Festival in 2014. I didn’t know that at all. But I proved their music haven’t got old. At least I felt freshly new song by new band.

音楽を通して一番伝えたいことはどんなことですか？
A
リスナーが僕らが作った曲を愛してくれることを願っている。彼らにとってその曲達が特別ものであればと思う。他のアーティスト達が作ったレコードに僕らが共鳴するようにね。

A
僕らは友達がいない人々へのバンドなんだ。君のために僕らはいるんだよ、

The Three O’clockをバンド名にした理由を教えてください。
A
Salvation Army（救世軍／慈悲深いグループ）と呼ばれていたんだけど。ある日、Michael Quercioがやってきて、The Three O’clockを提案したんだ。人によって受け取り方が違う名前だよね。僕らは３時にリハーサルをしたんだ。

誰にインスパイアされますか？
A
バンドのみんなが異なるインスピレーションを持っている。The Beatlesはたしかだね。

日本へのメッセージをお願いします。
A
日本へまた戻れたらと思うよ。もし誰かが興味を持ってくれているのなら。僕らは（2004年に） Fuji Rock Festivalで演奏したきりだから。覚えていてくれよ！ ありがとう！

listeners through your music?

We hope that they love the music that we have made,and is special to
them. The way records resonate to us by other artists.

We are a band for people with no friends.. We are here for you…

Why did you choose Three O’Clock as your band name?
A
We were called Salvation Army (A charitable group).Michael Quercio
came in one day and suggested the name,which can mean many thing to
many people. We rehearsed at Three O’Clock.

Who inspire you?
A
Everyone in the band has different inspirations. The Beatles for sure.
